Just keeping you guys up-to-date:

My vow of silence went well. It was the hardest thing I've ever done in my life, no exaggeration. I expected the kids at my regular school (I go to two schools; academic in the morning and art school in the afternoon) to be all weirded out, but they were mostly supportive. My teachers really respect me for it, too. I learned to rely on myself, because I couldn't ask anyone for help (though in dire instances I wrote things down; that was a lot of fun.) I also developed spiritually: because I didn't have the distraction of talking, I read a lot and spent my weekends at the book store. I read this amazing comic about Buddha, but sadly, I can't remember the name of the artist/writer (but he's the guy who created Astroboy). WOW. I mean, WOW WOW WOW. Buddha was an awesome guy. there were many parts that made me cry, but it's also got this great sense of humor in it. YOU MUST READ IT. DO IT NOW.

In other news, I will be taking down some of my writing due to a majority of it being heavily edited (like, added 2000 more words edited.) They'll be reposted soon, along with some new stuff. I didn't want anyone to freak out, so I thought I'd mention that.
